Day 28+29 New York City- What dreams are made of!

On day 3, and feeling much better and refreshed we ventured out towards Time Square. On the way we stopped by New York Public Library. It was absolutely huge and the architecture was so beautiful! We explored the main research room, which was filled with busy students!

Afterwards we headed into Times Square. It was definitely as amazing as it seems in the movies! The amount of screens was overwhelming and it just had a good vibe about it. After taking some photos, we visited the famous M&M store, and never before have I seen so many different types. They were also absolutely delicious 🀀 Once exploring a bit more, we got in the 1hr que to purchase discount broadway tickets. After deliberating which show, we decided on one everyone would enjoy called A Bronx Tale. That evening we headed out to watch that show, and I was absolutely flawed by it. The standard of acting and singing was amazing as you would expect. It almost made me want to be on Broadway, in fact I think it did! It seems like such a fun place to be.

The next morning we had an early start and a busy day ahead. We started the day we a TV and Movie Tour of NYC. We saw sights from movies and shows such as Seinfield, Ghostbusters, I am Legend and the Friends Apartment. Afterwards we headed to the NBA store, where Christians dreams came true. Honestly, I felt like I was trapped in there and it would never end.

Afterward, we channeled our inner Kath and Kim, and power walked for about 30 minutes down to the Piers of NYC where we caught a sightseeing ferry around famous NYC sights and most famously the Statue of Liberty. Unfortunately my phone died just before we approached the Liberty, but I got some really good photos on another camera. I will upload them at a later date. That evening we had a relaxing night, going out for dinner at yet again another pub (gotta keep the old man happy 😜)

Overall, we loved our time in NYC but probably could have stayed another day or two at least. Oh well, always an excuse for another trip!
