On our 3rd day in Knoxville, we headed around 1hr away to a mountain called Gatlinburg. To reach the top of the mountain you need to take a cable car. That was a really fun ride!! We were able to get amazing views of the whole city which sat at the bottom of the mountain. Devastatingly, in the 4th image you can see the intense impact the deliberate fires lit 3 months ago had on the land, homes and people.

Once at the top of the mountain, there are many fun things to do including skiing and tubing. Also at the top of the mountain is a whole town which is set indoors. It features shops, restaurants and even its own ice skating rink!

Once exploring this cute little town for a while longer, we headed to our next stop which was a lookout half way down the mountain. With snow all around we got another glimpse of a winter wonderland! After a quick snap, we jumped into the car and made the journey home.
