It is safe to say that Disneyworld was one part of the trip I was looking forward to the most!!

After arriving at the airport, we headed straight to the Disney Magical Express Service which is a complimentary bus service that drives you straight to your Disney hotel. On the trip there, informative guides are played do the screens with tips on how to best navigate your Disney experience.

After around 25 minutes and crossing under the huge Welcome to Walt Disney World sign, we arrived at our resort: Port Orleans Riverside. It was such a beautiful resort, with a colonial type theme. All the rooms are made to look like old style mansions rather than individual rooms. Upon arrival we received our welcome package including luggage tags, and most importantly our magic bands. They are so amazing; they unlock your door, are your theme park tickets, photopass, as well as portable credit card.

Once settling into our room, we headed to Disney Springs which is a free to enter entertainment precinct on Disney World property. We arrived in style, on boat from our resort. While wondering Disney  Springs we saw many performers, as well as visited some shops (the biggest Disney store is here!) We then headed to House of Blues for an amazing dinner before heading back to the hotel and going straight to bed in preparation for our first day at the parks!
